About 30 years ago the Galway Hurling cub visited Chicago and at that time there was no organized group from Galway in Chicago to entertain and accomodate them. At the urging of Tom Hynes the Galway Fellowship Club was formed in 1981 and has been going strong since then.



The 28th annual dinner is scheduled for April 4, 2009 at Chicago Gaelic Park. This event usually has an attendance of approximately 500 Irish and Irish American and we expect the same this year. Cocktails start at 6:30 and a sit down dinner will be served at 7:30. Tickets for the evening are $55.00 which includes an open bar all night, dinner and entertainment.
