The Ottawa Gaels men's have had a presence in the Canadian Board since 1975. The Women's team came on board in 1984, and have been a powerhouse in their play, winning the championship 4 or the last 5 years.The minor teams have gone to the Continental Championships for the last five years. Through this program many youth have been introduced to a great game and have come in contact with their Irish roots.



The winter is played away with an adult recreational league in the Algonquin College dome on Friday evenings and the youth playing in the Ottawa Oz dome on Sunday mornings.
